Your Driver Guide will pick you up from your Hotel and take you to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a Sanctuary that cares for orphaned baby Elephants and are taken care of by a dedicated team of conservationists. The orphanage is run by Daphne Sheldrick, the wife of the late famous Naturalist, David William Sheldrick.
Immediately after, depart and drive to the Giraffe Center which protects the highly endangered Rothschild's giraffe, combines serious conservation with enjoyable activities. You can observe, hand-feed or even kiss one of the giraffes from a raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience. You may also spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud, and there's an interesting self-guided forest walk through the adjacent Gogo River Bird Sanctuary.
Enjoy lunch at Utamaduni restaurant before you embark on a visit to the Bomas of Kenya. While you are here, you will learn and understand the cultural heritage of Kenya. You will also enjoy traditional dance performances, songs and folklore during your visit here. Your Driver will drive your back to your Hotel where you will spend the night.
